GAHP Version 1.0

GAHP: Integrated software package on Genetic Analysis with bi-parental immortalized Heterozygous Populations

Bi-parental immortalized heterozygous populations are important genetic resources and powerful for heterosis studies. GAHP is a freely integrated software package for genetic analysis with bi-parental immortalized heterozygous populations as well as their parental pure-line populations. Four populations can be handled in GAHP for analysis of variance (ANOVA) and quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping. They are bi-parental pure-line lines (PIL) that can be doubled haploids (DH) or recombinant inbred lines (RIL), immortalized backcross population with the first parent (IB1), immortalized backcross population with the second parent (IB2), and immortalized F2 population (IF2).

Four functionalities have been implemented in GAHP V1.0:

(1) MHP: genetic linkage map drawing;

(2) VHP: ANOVA with bi-parental immortalized heterozygous populations;

(3) QHP: QTL mapping with bi-parental immortalized heterozygous populations;

(4) SHP: simulation of bi-parental immortalized heterozygous populations.
