Luyan Zhang

PhD. Quantitative Geneticist and Bioinformatician

 

From September 2002 to July 2006, I studied as an undergraduate student at Department of Mathematics, Beijing Normal University, where I received my BSc degree upon graduation. From September 2006 to June 2011, I studied as a PhD student at Department of Mathematics, Beijing Normal University, where I received my PhD degree in applied mathematics upon graduation.

 

From April 2007 to June 2011, I worked as a visiting scientist on quantitative genetics in the Institute of Crop Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. From September to October 2009 and September to November 2010, I was a visiting scientist at CSIRO in Australia and Wageningen University in Netherland.

 

In July 2011, I joined CAAS as a research associate. I am now mainly working on quantitative genetics.
